Feeding size: 3-100mm

Limestone Grinding mill plant is industrial production facilities that utilise limestone (calcium carbonate) as raw material. Through processes including crushing, grinding, classification, dust collection, and packaging, they produce limestone powder of varying fineness. This powder finds extensive application across sectors such as building materials, chemicals, metallurgy, environmental protection, plastics, and papermaking. The limestone mill plant operates as a closed-circuit system designed to reduce lump limestone into fine powder of 200-500 mesh. The ball mill serves as the primary equipment for processing limestone powder.
1.Raw Material Delivery: Large limestone blocks (500–1000 mm) arrive at site, undergo inspection and impurity removal before being stockpiled in the raw material yard;
2.Crushing and Fine Grinding: Material undergoes primary crushing via jaw crusher → secondary crushing via impact crusher/cone crusher to achieve ball mill feed size (15–50 mm), then conveyed to the raw material silo;
3.Quantitative Feeding: Material from the raw material silo undergoes magnetic separation and quantitative feeding before conveyed to the ball mill;
4.Grinding and Classification: The ball mill crushes the material through compression grinding. The powder enters the classifier with hot air; qualified fine powder is sent to the dust collection system, while coarse powder is returned to the ball mill for regrinding;
5.Product Collection: The dust collector separates gas and solids, collecting qualified fine powder into the finished product silo;
6.Packaging and dispatch: Powder from the finished product silo is distributed as required—either bulk loading (into tankers) or bagged (25/50kg pre-measured packs)—and dispatched after passing quality inspection.
