Trommel Screen is mainly composed of motor, reducer, drum device, frame, sealing cover, inlet and outlet, which is widely used for screening various materials, such as poor quality coal, coal slurry, bituminous coal and other materials. It screens according to the particle size of the material, with high screening precision. We design the trommel screen cylinder with multiple segmented sections, each featuring uniformly sized sieve holes. These sections arrange the holes in a graduated progression from smallest to largest aperture, enabling precise material classification from coarse to fine particles while maintaining consistent separation efficiency within each segment.
The inclined rotating drum actively tumbles incoming materials across its screen surface, leveraging centrifugal force and gravity to separate particles by size. Qualified materials discharge through the rear-bottom outlet as finished product, while oversized rejects exit at the drum's terminal end - achieving continuous, automated size classification. The tumbling and rolling motion of materials inside the drum ejects particles stuck in the sieve holes, effectively preventing screen blockage. The drum sand screen machine, drum stone washing machine, and drum screen share nearly identical core mechanical structures. Their different names simply reflect varied industrial applications and user perceptions of the same fundamental technology.
