    WORKING PRINCIPLE

    The cone of a spring cone crusher is a moving component, performing an eccentric motion via an eccentrically rotating main shaft. The eccentric shaft rotates, imparting a gyrating motion to the mantle. This gyration forces the mantle to periodically move towards the concave. The rock fed into the chamber is consequently squeezed between these two surfaces. This action generates intense compressive forces that fracture the rock. As the material descends through the wear-resistant liners, the opening within the chamber progressively narrows, reducing the particle size of the material. A critical safety feature is the spring overload protection system. It safeguards the crusher by permitting the mantle to yield when encountering tramp metal or other uncrushable objects. In essence, it allows these materials to pass through harmlessly, preventing costly mechanical failures.
