Screw conveyor is a kind of machinery which uses electric motor to drive the screw to rotate and push the materials to achieve the purpose of conveying, which can be conveyed horizontally, inclined or vertically. Screw conveyor is mainly used for conveying all kinds of powdery, granular and small lump materials, such as cement, fly ash, lime, ore, sand and gravel and other building materials, salt, fertiliser and other chemicals, as well as bulk materials such as coal, coke, ore, etc., and it can't convey materials that are easy to be deteriorated, viscous and lumpy. This system serves critical applications across building materials production, chemical processing, coal handling, grain/oil processing, and feed manufacturing.
The screw conveyor combines a sealed trough housing and a rotating helical screw. As the screw shaft rotates, its spiral blades continuously propel materials forward through the enclosed chamber.
