    WORKING PRINCIPLE

    The cone of a spring cone crusher is a moving component, performing an eccentric motion via an eccentrically rotating main shaft. When rock enters the top of the cone crusher, the rotation of the eccentric shaft causes the rock to be squeezed between the cone and the bowl liner (or concave), thereby generating compressive forces within the crushing chamber. As the material descends through the wear-resistant liners, the opening within the chamber progressively narrows, reducing the particle size of the material. The final particle size and degree of crushing depend on the crusher's closed-side setting, which is the gap between the two crushing elements at their lowest point. The spring system provides overload protection, allowing exceptional materials or steel to pass through the crushing chamber without causing any damage to the machinery.
