Disc feeder is a kind of feeding equipment, divided into open and closed type two kinds, suitable for feeding non-sticky materials.
Disc feeder consists of driving device, feeder body, conveyor and other components, the use of disc feeder can make the material uniformly into a piece of equipment, so that the next process is carried out normally, suitable for powder, granular or small lumps of materials, such as coal powder, cement, clinker, limestone, clay, gypsum, slag and so on.
The hopper loads the bulk material into the receiving cylinder. As the disc rotates, the scraper on the disc evenly spreads the material outward, causing it to fall downward. With each rotation, the scraper continuously and uniformly directs the material into the receiving hopper. Adjusting the clearance between the discharging knife and the disc can also control the amount of material feeding.
