Ceramic Ball Mill

Ceramic lined ball mill is used to grind down raw materials into very fine particles. It is specifically designed for high purity material powder production.Raw materials such as feldspar, quartz, clay, kaolin and glaze can be ground down by high alumina

Adapted material:

high-purity minerals such as kaolin, feldspar, quartz sand, ceramics, glass, zircon, alumina, rare earths, pigments, and other non-metallic minerals.

    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Ceramic ball mills represent a crucial specialised branch within the ball mill family, characterised fundamentally by components in direct contact with the ground material—primarily liners and grinding media—being fabricated from ceramic materials. These typically comprise high-density, high-hardness substances such as alumina, zirconia, or silica. This design renders them the preferred equipment for processing fine materials requiring high purity, high whiteness, and strict avoidance of iron contamination. In the ceramics industry, ceramic ball mills are used to grind ceramic raw materials, such as feldspar, quartz, and clay. The finely ground materials can form a more uniform slurry, leading to ceramic products that are more consistent and durable.

    FEATURES

    • Absolutely pollution-free
a core advantage ensuring the product's high purity and high whiteness.
    • Corrosion resistance
Ceramic materials exhibit exceptional resistance to acids, alkalis, and various chemical solvents, enabling the grinding of corrosive materials.
    • Insulation, high-temperature resistance:
      Suitable for specialised process requirements.
    • Low failure rate
excellent product quality, reliable and durable, reducing customer operating and maintenance costs

    WORKING PRINCIPLE

    Ceramic Ball Mill

The ceramic lined ball mill primarily consists of four major components: the feeding part, the discharging part, the rotary part, and the driving part. The driving part further includes a reducer, a small drive gear, an electric motor, and an electronic control system.Ceramic ball mills operate similarly to conventional ball mills, utilising the rotation of the grinding chamber to drive ceramic grinding balls. Materials are pulverised through friction, grinding, and mild impact. Because ceramic balls typically have a lower density than steel balls, they exert less impact force. This makes them better suited for fine grinding than for crushing.
